WatchSeveral times a year, MAM hosts a baby shower for 5 Arizona military families. A registry is sent to the families, where they select gifts/essentials they need for their upcoming bundle of joy. WatchMAM selects five expecting Arizona Service Members and/or their spouse to attend a baby shower hosted by MAM. On the day of the baby shower, the selected families will enjoy an afternoon of food, activities, and at the end take home a bundle of baby essentials. WatchOn September 6th, Military Assistance Mission was joined by members of the community at the Scottsdale Resort, McCormick Ranch for our sixth annual Freedom Breakfast. The day was filled with many emotions but it served as an opportunity to come together to remember and cherish the sacrifices of 9/11. This year’s speaker was Timothy Brown, a retired, decorated member of the FDNY, who experienced the tragedy of 9/11 first-hand. We were honored to have him address how his life was impacted and to remind us as a community that “Heroes are Never Forgotten.” Thank you to everyone who joined us on this special day.
WatchIn 2019, MAM hosted our fifth annual Golf Classic. The tournament took place at the beautiful Gainey Ranch Golf Club to support those that protect us. While on the home front or in a foreign country; we must be there when the need arises for our warriors and their families. We realize that our lowest paid ranking military struggle to pay their bills even while training to serve our nation. It is our job, as we enjoy all that America has to offer, to make sure our warriors can continue without distractions of emergency financial situations.
